Otis Library American Girl Tea Party

I may not remember this library, but my parents sure do. My latest book signing at the Otis Library in Norwich, CT is not only the town of my birthplace, but Its the town where both my parents were born and raised. I can even trace back my family tree to my Great-Great Grandparents emmigrating to Norwich from Ireland in the 1850s. Needless to say, I was so happy to be truely "home" again. And boy do these guys throw a great tea party!

I think I nearly died when I got to meet Emeril and personally hand him one of my signed books! I'm not sure how I'm going to top this trip.... now back home to the grindstone. I'm almost at the painting stage of the book I'm Illustrating, Yay!

Swan Lake

Here's my latest painting, "Swan Lake". For a while I've been wanting to get in touch with my more Fine Arts side. One afternoon I was out walking in the park in Stamford, CT and I became enchanted by this one swan. Here she was, swimming all by herself, just roaming around the pond. She was this tiny spot of light amoungst a sea of darkness. Here is my homage to the swan queen of the lake.
